Privacy Policy

What we collect on this website, why, and how we protect it.

Last updated: October 15, 2026

Tomchei Shabbos of Middlesex County respects your privacy. This page explains what information this website collects and how we use it.

Information you give us

We only collect personal information that you choose to share with us:

  • Donations. When you give through PayPal, PayPal tells us your name, email address, the amount and date of your gift, and any dedication you add, so we can send your receipt.
  • Receipt requests. If you gave by Zelle or check, the receipt form asks for your name, email, amount, date and payment details so we can match your gift and email your receipt.
  • Concert tickets. We ask for your name, email and phone number to record your order, email your confirmation and check you in at the door.
  • Volunteering and concert updates. If you sign up to volunteer or to hear about the concert, we keep the details you enter so we can contact you.
  • Emails and calls. If you contact us, we keep your message so we can respond.

How we use it

We use your information only to run Tomchei Shabbos: to send receipts and ticket confirmations, keep records of donations, coordinate volunteers, and let you know about events you asked to hear about. We never sell, rent or trade your information.

Payments

All online payments are handled by PayPal. We never see or store your card or bank details. Zelle gifts go through your bank. PayPal's and your bank's own privacy policies apply to those payments.

Services that help us

We use a few trusted services, such as email, online forms and website hosting, to run the website and keep our records. They use your information only to provide those services to us.

Website analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages are useful, and how many visitors go on to donate. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, your general location, and the type of device and browser you use. It does not tell us who you are. You can learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

The website also remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. That setting stays on your device.

Keeping your information safe

We take reasonable care to protect the information you share with us, and we keep it only as long as we need it for receipts and our records.

Questions

If you have any questions about your information, please email us at Tomcheimc@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
